About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to own and improve infrastructure across AWS, hosted, and on-prem environments. This role involves identifying and resolving stability, performance, and security issues, designing and implementing scalable architectures, and applying SRE practices. You will also build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enhance observability, and collaborate with engineering teams while acting as a technical mentor.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve infrastructure across AWS, hosted, and on-prem environments
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve stability, performance, and security issues
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure architectures
- Apply SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, incident management, automation etc.)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and operational excellence
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and act as a technical mentor
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and production systems
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and Linux
- Deep knowledge of SRE principles and operating reliable distributed systems
- Proven ability to modernize legacy infrastructure pragmatically and safely
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus/Grafana
- Understanding of cost optimization and security best practices
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Go preferred)
- Experience with hybrid or on-premise infrastructure (Nice to have)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) (Nice to have)
