About the Role
As a Sr EH&S Specialist for our Rochester, NY sites, you will partner with key stakeholders to integrate EH&S programs into daily operations to assure regulatory compliance and employee safety. In this role, you will report to the Director, EH&S for the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development, coordination, and implementation of Corporate EH&S policies.
- Support and develop CSR- EHS & Sustainability programs.
- Provide technical support for key EHS metrics and objectives.
- Interact with local, state, and federal agencies for permitting and inspection requirements.
- Chair the Safety Committee and coordinate action item completion.
- Train employees on company policies and safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action plan implementation.
- Perform proactive safety inspections and monitor hazardous waste vendors.
- Review operational project plans for safety, security, and environmental compliance.
- Work with supervision and management to implement the EHS Program effectively.
- Track and manage the site EHS budget.
Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Environmental field or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in EH&S field.
- Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety functions in a manufacturing environment and relevant regulations.
- Environmental or OSHA related training (e.g., HAZWOPER, GHS) is desired.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

- Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly.

- $88,425.00 - $147,375.00 USD per year
