About the Role

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for supply delivery and inventory management in assigned areas. This role ensures prompt, safe services for patient care and promotes a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter all inventory data into the Supply Chain Management software system using computer technology.
• Maintain electronic and hardcopy records, obtaining signatures at time of delivery.
• Pick and pack supply chain orders accurately and timely.
• Assist with receiving processes, including unboxing, counting, documenting, and sorting deliveries.
• Transport products to various locations using Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta vehicles.
• Deliver supplies to customers and obtain signatures.
• Maintain Supply Chain Inventory locations using technology, including stock rotation, expiration monitoring, organization, and cycle counts.
• Respond to customer requests courteously and assist with product selection.
• Accurately charge Supply Chain disbursements and process returns and credits.
• Conduct expiration date verification and report findings.
• Assist in the returns process for stock and non-stock items.
• Support continuous improvement of Supply Chain services.
• Adhere to time and attendance policies.
• Pick up, sort, and deliver mail.
• Meter mail and investigate unidentified mail.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Utilize all necessary communication devices.
• Learn and perform other Supply Chain responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook and Word)
• Valid Georgia driver’s license and insurable driving record (warehouse technicians only)

Experience Level

• One year of experience in hospital healthcare distribution (preferred)
• Experience with Workday and Omnicell or similar Materials Management Information System and Supply Management Solution (preferred)
• Experience with technology supported devices to manage (preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent
