About the Role

The Enterprise Systems Engineer will lead the implementation, integration, and operation of enterprise systems using AI as a foundational element. This role involves owning the technical execution of the Workday and ERP ecosystem, leveraging AI tools to enhance implementation velocity, integration quality, and system improvement. The engineer will build an autonomous, resilient integration layer connecting global HCM, ERP, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a cross-functional technical expert across Workday and ERP ecosystems, ensuring system integrity, data quality, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify, pilot, and scale AI use cases across Enterprise Systems to streamline internal operations.
  • Lead Workday and ERP implementations using AI-augmented methodologies, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
  • Leverage AI tools like Cursor with LLM-pair programming for accelerated development of integrations, transformation scripts, and API documentation.
  • Generate and maintain UAT test scripts, data migration mappings, and functional specifications using AI tooling.
  • Produce high-fidelity technical documentation with AI assistance, followed by human review.
  • Write and maintain code (Python, JavaScript, or SQL) to automate business logic and system workflows, building custom solutions for complex challenges.
  • Serve as the technical lead for 'Source-to-Target' migration workstreams, executing ETL processes and ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain AI-augmented workflows using Claude and Gemini for compliance monitoring and data reconciliation.
  • Identify architectural weaknesses and implement preventative measures for long-term platform stability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in Systems Engineering, Integration Development, or ERP/HCM implementation.
  • Must have personally executed at least two enterprise-scale HCM or ERP implementations or global system migrations.
  • Demonstrated track record of adopting AI tools to redesign delivery workflows around LLM capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, validation, and working with large data sets.
  • Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex business rules into logical, executable code.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Cursor for rapid prototyping and code review.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude/Gemini for agentic workflow design, requirements synthesis, test generation, and documentation automation.
  • Experience integrating AI tooling into enterprise delivery workflows.
  • Deep understanding of data objects and backend structures of Tier 1 platforms (e.g., Workday, Acumatica, Big Query, ServiceNow).
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM (data model, integration framework, business process configuration).
  • Expert proficiency in SQL (data profiling, validation, stored procedures, CTEs, performance tuning).
  • Expert proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python, JavaScript, C#, or Ruby).
  • Deep hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API Design, JSON/XML parsing, and iPaaS platforms.
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mastery in producing high-fidelity technical artifacts including Sequence Diagrams, ERDs, Data Flow Diagrams, and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
