About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist a client in the Don Valley Parkway and York Mills Rd area. This role involves providing essential care and support to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with morning care routine.
- Perform meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands.
- Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
- Follow and update care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.
- Assist client to her own condo.
- Housekeeping and organizing home.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Reliable internet access and a mobile phone
