About the Role
The Account Manager role is central to Lockton Northeast's client engagement strategy, responsible for daily servicing needs under general guidance. This role involves leading core service delivery and managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Participants will engage in training programs designed for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day administrative and service needs, including claims, compliance, billing, and carrier issues.
- Lead core service delivery activities.
- Complete tasks assigned to the 'support role' in the client engagement workbook.
- Manage client service calls, including leading discussions and ensuring timely updates.
- Track and distribute monthly claims reports to clients.
- Manage compliance tasks, including sending annual calendars, reminding clients of deadlines, and completing necessary documentation like 5500 drafts, PCORI calculations, SPDs, and SBCs.
- Oversee open enrollment communications, including timeline development, presentation creation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Proactively communicate with internal teams.
- Attend training to enhance skill sets and market knowledge.
- Share valuable new experiences with the broader benefits team.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in prospect meetings.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of benefits insurance experience and/or Human Resources/consulting experience.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, protecting client and company information.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.
- Become an invaluable member of the service team, as indicated through annual client feedback.
- Solicit feedback regularly from the team and actively make progress toward goals.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
