About the Role
STUDIOCANAL, the film studio of the Canal+ media group, is a leading European film and series studio. We produce and market our titles globally across all distribution stages. With a catalog of over 9,400 titles spanning more than 100 years of film history, we offer a diverse range of content from blockbusters to arthouse films. We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Cost planning within budget/forecast creation
- Responsibility for monthly and quarterly closing
- Cash flow planning
- Performing variance analysis, including identification and interpretation of deviations
- Supporting and advising operational departments with meaningful analyses
- Creating standard reports and further developing ongoing reporting
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Controlling Group Governance processes
Requirements
- Completed business administration degree with a focus on finance/controlling
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in the media sector
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- SAP user knowledge in FI and CO is desirable
- Experience in an international group is an advantage
- Interest in film as a medium
- Analysis specialist with an interest in overall contexts
- Independent, precise, and structured way of working
- Native-level German language skills and fluent English
