About the Role
This role is responsible for building and maintaining the technical infrastructure that enables the organization to operate in an AI-native way. You will implement integrations, build automated workflows, and serve as a technical resource for practitioners using the infrastructure. The work you do will be actively used by non-engineers across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations connecting our enterprise AI platform to organizational tools and data sources.
- Implement multi-step automated workflows following established patterns and standards.
- Maintain the system write-back layer, routing outputs and updating task statuses in operational systems.
- Serve as a technical resource for domain experts, helping them scope feasibility within the current infrastructure.
- Participate in review processes for new agents or automated workflows before deployment.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and maintain reliability across the integration layer.
- Contribute to post-deployment monitoring and observability, flagging unexpected behavior and escalating issues.
- Apply security requirements consistently across all builds, including access controls and credential management.
- Contribute to technical documentation and training content to enable independent building over time.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or applied technical roles.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations, automation workflows, or AI-powered tools in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience writing production-quality code.
- Experience building API integrations or connecting enterprise SaaS platforms through standard integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with large language models in production.
- Practical experience applying security requirements in production systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool-use and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Comfort operating in an environment where requirements evolve.
- Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teammates.
