About the Role
The Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) will gain hands-on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager. The program includes a comprehensive training program with hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development, focusing on overseeing overnight freight operations and Manager on Duty duties.
Responsibilities
- Supervise associates in selling efforts and lead GET culture.
- Drive customer service and associate engagement, ensuring customer concerns are solved effectively.
- Perform Opening, Closing MOD and other whole store focus responsibilities.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and hold associates accountable.
- Ensure compliance with store standard operating procedures (SOP’s), especially safety and hazmat procedures.
- Maintain process accuracy and mitigate shrink.
- Ensure self and associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines.
- Plan merchandise placement, signing, and support stock integrity through inventory management.
- Maintain and operate all store equipment and systems.
- Manage daily financial operations.
- Participate in a structured training program covering retail store management.
- Support key accountability: staffing and scheduling, identifying and resolving stock deficiencies, supervising associates in selling behaviors, resolving customer issues, and supporting service needs.
- Learn and demonstrate the performance management process, including associate performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Complete all assigned training modules and assessments.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
