About the Role
As a Healthcare Management Referent, you will serve as a central interface between operational execution, market requirements, and internal steering. Your focus will be on the smooth implementation and further development of operational processes, working closely with operations teams to ensure processes are stable, efficient, and economical.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and support of contracts for special care (§ 140a SGB V) in daily operations.
- Support market access towards health insurance funds from an operational perspective.
- Ensure efficient onboarding of new contracts in close collaboration with operations teams.
- Close coordination with internal teams to translate contractual requirements into functional processes.
- Utilize your interface function to translate operational insights and customer requirements into improvements of existing processes.
- Accompany and coordinate contract updates (e.g., importing new catalogs) together with operational units.
- Analysis of existing operational workflows and identification of improvement and efficiency potentials.
- Derivation and implementation of concrete measures for process stabilization and optimization.
- Promotion of structured and transparent collaboration between involved teams.
- Establishment of clear processes, responsibilities, and interfaces.
- Support in operational projects and customer implementations.
- Definition and further development of relevant KPIs for process and capacity management.
- Build transparency regarding operational performance, utilization, and economic efficiency.
- Creation of reports and dashboards as a basis for operational decisions.
- Derivation and tracking of measures to improve efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Health Economics, or similar, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience in an operational environment, ideally in healthcare or services.
- Experience in collaborating with operations teams and in managing operational processes.
- Strong understanding of processes, interrelationships, and economic mechanisms.
- Analytical skills and experience in handling KPIs and data.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Structured, meticulous, and independent way of working.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.
- High sense of responsibility and pragmatic implementation orientation.
