About the Role
The National Safeguarding Panel (NSP) is seeking two representatives from a survivor's organisation to join its independent scrutiny and advisory body. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding work of the Church of England by providing strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors.
Responsibilities
- Offer strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors.
- Shape safeguarding policy and practice.
- Ensure the voices of victims and survivors are heard and integrated into decision-making.
Requirements
- Represent a survivor's organisation that works with individuals affected by faith-based abuse.
- Submit a CV.
- Submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words outlining relevant skills and experience, and explaining interest in the role.

Salary/Compensations
- £25 per hour for attendance at meetings
- Reimbursement for travel expenses
- Reimbursement for additional reasonable expenses in accordance with the Church of England’s NCI expenses policy, subject to approval by the Chair.
