About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to cover a consistent, long-term Sunday shift from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a client in North York. This role requires a commitment of at least 6 months, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts with other clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with morning and evening care routines.
- Perform meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands.
- Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
- Follow and update care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Reliable internet access and a mobile phone
