About the Role

Lead the design, development, and delivery of the BA Business Management programme, ensuring an outstanding and engaging student experience. Shape how business is taught by embedding experiential learning, industry relevance, and inclusive teaching practices. Support academic colleagues and ensure students are motivated, challenged, and prepared for modern business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of modules within the Business Management programme.
• Teach across undergraduate levels and contribute to a high-quality student learning experience.
• Drive student success, progression, retention, and attainment.
• Manage key aspects of course delivery, including assessment, standardisation, and quality assurance.
• Support and collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance teaching practice.
• Embed LCCA’s teaching philosophy, including experiential learning, reflective practice, and continuous feedback.
• Build strong links with industry to enrich teaching and student employability.
• Support curriculum development across subject areas such as Marketing, Digital Transformation and E-Business; Leadership, Management and Organisational Behaviour; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; and Strategy, Sustainability and Global Business.
• Contribute to course monitoring, enhancement, and academic governance processes.
• Engage in research, scholarship, or professional practice to maintain subject expertise.

Requirements

• A degree and postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• A teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent).
• Experience teaching and assessing in Higher Education.
• A strong track record in curriculum design and delivering engaging learning experiences.
• Experience contributing to or leading academic programmes or subject areas.
• Understanding of quality assurance, assessment practices, and student support.
• Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA or above) is a plus.
• A PhD or higher research degree is a plus.
• Strong industry connections within business-related fields is a plus.
• Student-centred with a commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching.
• Innovative in approach, bringing ideas to life in the classroom.
• Collaborative, supportive, and able to inspire both students and colleagues.
• Organised and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Passionate about preparing students for real-world careers.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
