About the Role

The Senior Underwriter is a key member of the underwriting team, responsible for profitably growing a book of business by partnering with Agents and collaborating with colleagues. This role involves planning and budgeting for the book of business, developing agency relationships, and executing underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing your book of business, tracking performance, and analyzing market conditions and competition.
• Building and managing broker relationships, developing goals and strategies, and collaborating to craft tailored solutions for members.
• Overseeing new and renewal underwriting, selecting risks per company guidelines, and ensuring timely follow-up and closing of accounts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience underwriting, preferably in the high net worth space.
• Comfortable owning a book of business.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to make risk decisions.
• Pride and determination in work.
