About the Role
At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you will help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure, transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed. You will work alongside experienced professionals blending real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to build for the future.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive scopes and RFPs
- Create and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, RFIs, Change Orders, etc.
- Motivate, develop, and maintain subcontractor interest in the project(s)
- Administer the Construction Contract from inception through construction to project closeout
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Manage and administrate payment application documents
- Interface with local building department to obtain necessary permits, and coordinate project close-out with building and engineering officials
- Manage construction scheduling and sequencing, anticipate long lead items, and recognize critical paths
- Advise the client regarding the Construction Contract and all related matters of the Project
- Verify and validate the General Contractor receipt of OFCI equipment
- Monitor and enforce the health and safety requirements onsite
- Schedule and conduct Owner, Architect, and CM meetings, prepare and distribute minutes of these meetings
- Hold weekly production and/or safety meetings
- Review Jobsite progress with an eye toward quality, conformance to drawings and specifications, etc.
- Report to senior leadership on all cost schedule risk and quality issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Project Management
- Thorough and complete knowledge of the construction process and management techniques, methods, and materials
- Outstanding negotiating skills
- Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Organized and detail oriented
