This role bridges R&D and manufacturing by developing the test infrastructure required to validate new electronic/RF hardware designs and ensure quality during high-volume production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE), test fixtures, and complex electronic systems.
  • Write, debug, and maintain automated test software using LabVIEW 2020-2026.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW PPL’s and distributed runtime engines.
  • Must know or have ability to learn various LabVIEW implementations.
  • Create custom test interfaces and develop rack-based test stations.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Technicians to define test plans, perform root-cause failure analysis, and validate hardware functionality.
  • Analyze test data and statistical yield metrics to optimize test coverage and reduce overall test time in manufacturing.
  • Author standard operating procedures (SOPs), test coverage reports, and Design-for-Test (DFT) guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with proven relative experience.
  • Five years of LabVIEW 2020 – 2026 experience for test development and instrument automation.
  • Hands-on experience with rack-based test instruments such as: RF Switches, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Experience with schematics and basic board troubleshooting.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis on analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits and rack-based instruments.
  • DFT methodologies, ATE platforms, and regulatory compliance testing.
