About the Role
Support our global population with onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR questions. You will manage global compliance programs, building, maintaining, and improving them as we scale into new countries. This role offers significant ownership of a global function within a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle for our global population: onboarding, changes, leaves, exits, and everything in between.
- Own global compliance programs like a program manager: build new processes, maintain and improve existing ones, and drive ongoing efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners during EMEA/JAPAC hours.
- Partner with global payroll and EOR platforms to manage country-specific new hire and offboarding requirements worldwide.
- Build and maintain SOPs for global processes.
- Represent the People Ops team on EMEA/JAPAC matters.
- Partner cross-functionally with People Systems, Legal, IT, Payroll, and Workplace teams.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of HR/People Ops experience, ideally including time in a mature, multi-country organization.
- Experience running compliance like a program: building, maintaining, and improving processes over time.
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of employment law and compliance in at least one region outside the US — EMEA and/or JAPAC experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and HR data protection requirements.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as Workday, Deel, or Remote.
- A track record of working independently across a global, distributed team.
- A strategic mindset with a strong inclination for program and project management.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Comfort being the go-to point of contact for a region during your hours.
- Confidence to represent the function externally.
