About the Role
Blackstone seeks to deliver compelling returns for institutional and individual investors by strengthening the companies in which the firm invests. Blackstone’s over $1.3 trillion in assets under management include global investment strategies focused on real estate, private equity, credit, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, secondaries and hedge funds.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update content across written communications, charts, brochures, videos/scripts, and digital content for use on the web and live delivery in collaboration with senior marketing team leaders.
- Manage the content development workflow through a full review process involving internal and external stakeholders, including legal & compliance, business unit subject-matter experts, firmwide marketing, and product strategy.
- Serve as a detail-oriented owner and manager of the data resources (Morningstar, Bloomberg, and other sources) underlying the educational content suite.
- Help manage existing content programs, including Blackstone’s “Essentials of Private Markets” introductory education series and its Continuing Education program for financial advisors.
- Ensure quality, error-free copy and data in all content, with the ability to edit for style, substance, and grammar.
- Ensure on-time, to-specification delivery of all projects with a strong ownership mindset.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the asset management segment with a focus on content strategy and content creation.
- Passion for investment themes, ideas, and clear, simple expression of each.
- Previous work on private markets and alternative investment themes is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with and command of Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and other data providers.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Ability to think critically and creatively about large data sets with an ownership mentality of data resources.
- History of helping develop content for a financial advisor audience, with an understanding of the various intermediary channels in asset management.
- Organized and project-oriented, with the ability to manage recurring and opportunistic projects.
- Collaborative mindset; works across teams and business units across Blackstone.
