About the Role
At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you will help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure, transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed with digital innovation and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build good working relationships with the project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost related information.
- Perform necessary research and assemble all information regarding current cost performances.
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring financial information is recorded accurately.
- Provide variance reporting and analysis to highlight, analyze, and report deviations from the project plan.
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
- Perform budget, financial forecasting, and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Maintain management tracking spreadsheets.
- Pull data queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls in the field or in a related area
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Accenture requirements
Skills
- Proficient users of Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel (Pivot tables and V-lookups)
- Knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to self-manage and work well in a changing environment
- Good written and oral communications skills
