About the Role

The company is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer to join their team, focusing on the latest generations of military software-defined radios. This role involves verifying and commissioning hardware modules, conducting hardware tests using measurement equipment, and implementing automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Verification and commissioning of hardware modules for the latest generations of military software-defined radios
  • Conduct hardware tests using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Implementation of automated hardware tests
  • Optimization and further development of test frameworks in close cooperation with firmware, hardware, and device integration teams

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field, ideally with a specialization in communication or RF technology
  • Sound experience in hardware testing, ideally in a military or security-critical environment
  • Very good knowledge of Python
  • Experience with electrical measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Practical experience with test automation and the development of test frameworks
  • Dedicated, team-oriented way of working combined with a self-reliant working style, as well as a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
  • Fluent German (written and spoken), good English skills are an advantage
