About the Role
The company is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer to join their team, focusing on the latest generations of military software-defined radios. This role involves verifying and commissioning hardware modules, conducting hardware tests using measurement equipment, and implementing automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Verification and commissioning of hardware modules for the latest generations of military software-defined radios
- Conduct hardware tests using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Implementation of automated hardware tests
- Optimization and further development of test frameworks in close cooperation with firmware, hardware, and device integration teams
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field, ideally with a specialization in communication or RF technology
- Sound experience in hardware testing, ideally in a military or security-critical environment
- Very good knowledge of Python
- Experience with electrical measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Practical experience with test automation and the development of test frameworks
- Dedicated, team-oriented way of working combined with a self-reliant working style, as well as a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
- Fluent German (written and spoken), good English skills are an advantage
