About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Form3, you will work on established, high-volume services at the core of Form3’s cloud-native payment platform. These critical systems demand reliability, resilience, and operational excellence. This role is for engineers who thrive on evolving critical systems at scale, balancing thoughtful design, careful testing, and operational discipline with the delivery of new capabilities.

Responsibilities

Designing, building, and running cloud-native microservices in Go for the real-time payments platform.
Building highly available, low-latency, and scalable systems to handle billions of payment requests.
Taking full ownership of services, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
Building with a focus on cost-efficiency, observability, and operational excellence.
Collaborating with engineers in an autonomous team structure, emphasizing code quality, simplicity, and continuous improvement.
Working with modern tooling and technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, CockroachDB, and NATS JetStream in a DevOps environment.

Requirements

Deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems.
Enjoyment of working on complex challenges within critical software where high performance and robustness are essential.
Familiarity with cloud and containerization technologies, test automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in owning projects end-to-end and supporting them in production.
Appreciation of clean code and software engineering best practices.
Experience with Go.
Great communication skills and enjoyment of sharing knowledge and collaborating.
