About the Role
As a key part of our team, you'll travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region. Your day will involve essential tasks like inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels (including leading on tank chlorinations), installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves, and conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2. Your ability to spot problems and proactively find solutions, combined with your detailed knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274, will be vital in maintaining our professional and compliant reputation.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems are safe and compliant.
- Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading on tank chlorinations.
- Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves.
- Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2.
- Flush water outlets, monitor temperatures, descale showerheads, and flush pressure vessels.
- Perform sampling for closed water systems.
- Use the SimPRO system to manage workload.
- Identify and solve problems proactively.
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent, or suitable industry experience.
- Successful candidate must undergo an enhanced DBS check and BPSS clearance.
