About the Role
Woolpert is an award-winning global architectural practice focused on performance-driven, highly complex facilities for large technology clients. We blend applied research, strategic thinking, and technology-driven design methods to drive solutions to complex design problems. We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Healthcare Practice within our Buildings Team.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Architect in preparing construction documents and specifications using computer-assisted design software.
- Assist in preparing and producing presentation materials, models, and material boards.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, reports, and supporting materials.
- Support the coordination of design information with internal disciplines and external consultants.
- Participate in construction phase activities, including assisting with on-site observations and documenting field conditions under supervision.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with project team members and external stakeholders.
- Participate in firm-wide quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture and 4+ years related experience.
- Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must enjoy collaborating with a design team.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other technical design software.
- Proficient with additional architectural or visualization software (Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
- Must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located.
