About the Role
As a functional QA Lead, you will ensure the quality of our entire product landscape, develop modern test strategies, and build a highly automated test environment that enables our digital future.
Responsibilities
- Development and responsibility for an overarching quality strategy (microservices, microfrontends & legacy systems)
- Building a modern, scalable test landscape
- Establishing standards and processes
- Enabling development teams for sustainable quality assurance
- Ensuring structure, stability, and quality in a growing software organization
Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern test strategies (test pyramid, unit, component, contract, E2E, performance tests)
- Very good knowledge of TypeScript and practical experience with Playwright, Jest and/or Vitest
- Experience with microservice architectures, microfrontends, and API/contract testing
- Expertise in building and further developing test automation and test frameworks
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab or Azure DevOps)
- Strong architectural and system understanding, including legacy integration
- Ability to coach development teams and build a quality culture
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Ownership, prioritization skills, and systemic thinking
