About the Role
This position is responsible for providing clinical shift coverage, monitoring day-to-day responsibilities, and ensuring resident safety. It includes clinical duties within the scope of certification or license and other essential treatment program services.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the site and residents, ensuring safety during assigned hours.
- Responds to immediate social or housekeeping issues.
- Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
- Responds to crises and emergencies.
- Completes data input into the agency database.
- Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor.
- Attends and participates in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings.
- Responds professionally and responsibly to incidents involving contagious diseases.
- Assists in the implementation of agency policies and procedures.
- Makes referrals, coordinates services, and maintains consultations with other providers, managed care providers, and legal agencies.
- Assists with site medication policies and procedures.
- Assists with the admission process and orientation of new residents.
- Assists with transportation as needed.
- Facilitates resident government program guidelines.
- Provides resident education.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s license.
Experience Level
- At least six months of experience in human services.
Education Level
- High school diploma or GED
