About the Role

This position is responsible for providing clinical shift coverage, monitoring day-to-day responsibilities, and ensuring resident safety. It includes clinical duties within the scope of certification or license and other essential treatment program services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the site and residents, ensuring safety during assigned hours.
• Responds to immediate social or housekeeping issues.
• Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
• Responds to crises and emergencies.
• Completes data input into the agency database.
• Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor.
• Attends and participates in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings.
• Responds professionally and responsibly to incidents involving contagious diseases.
• Assists in the implementation of agency policies and procedures.
• Makes referrals, coordinates services, and maintains consultations with other providers, managed care providers, and legal agencies.
• Assists with site medication policies and procedures.
• Assists with the admission process and orientation of new residents.
• Assists with transportation as needed.
• Facilitates resident government program guidelines.
• Provides resident education.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s license.

Experience Level

• At least six months of experience in human services.

Education Level

• High school diploma or GED
