About the Role

This position provides direct support to individuals seeking employment, assisting them with resume development, job searches, interview preparation, and onsite job coaching to ensure successful community employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals in developing a resume.
  • Conduct job searches.
  • Prepare individuals for interviews.
  • Provide onsite job coaching to support successful employment.
  • Support individuals in maintaining employment in the community.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
  • Must secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC, including 1st Aid & CPR & Decision Driving.
  • Combination of education and experience working with people with IDD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Personal vehicle to use for providing services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and experience working with individuals with an intellectual or development disability in a vocational setting OR Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field and 1 year of experience working with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability in a vocational setting.

  • $21.00 per hour + longevity
  • $0.50/hour longevity increase after 1 year of service.
