About the Role
We are seeking a Household Manager with a focus on administrative tasks and meal preparation to support a busy, warm, and energetic family of four. The ideal candidate will act as a collaborative partner, bringing order, anticipating needs, and helping the home run smoothly. This role requires a proactive, dependable, professional, and positive individual who enjoys being part of a lively household.
Responsibilities
- Manage the household calendar, including children's extracurricular schedules, medical appointments, and family logistics.
- Coordinate monthly prescription renewals.
- Track household expenses and receipts for purchases made in the household manager role.
- Support travel planning and logistics as needed.
- Prepare dinner for children 5 nights/week and for parents 3 nights/week.
- Support food introduction plan, introducing one new food per week, for children.
- Grocery shopping for pantry staples and recipe ingredients.
- Follow dietary needs and food preferences for particular eaters.
- Kitchen cleanup and maintenance.
- Partner with the family to create and maintain household organization systems.
- Perform daily resets: dishes, surfaces, high-traffic vacuuming, and prepping the home for the weekly cleaning service.
- Manage seasonal décor swaps.
- Assist with holiday, birthday, and event preparation.
- Handle packing and unpacking for family travel.
- Complete organizational projects (board games, toys/legos, gear, closets).
- Maintain and restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies.
- Handle returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping.
- Manage mail and packages; break down and dispose of boxes.
- Oversee cleaners, contractors, and landscapers.
- Research and coordinate repairs and quotes.
- Provide school pickup and activity transport for kids as needed.
- Offer additional childcare support as needed.
- Handle kid-related errands as needed.
- Wash, fold, and organize kids' laundry as needed.
- Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas.
Requirements
- Maintain a smoke-free environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
- General vaccinations.
- Must pass a background check, including a driving record review.

- M–F, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Some flexibility for additional hours required (up to 5 per week)
