About the Role

This posting is for an existing vacancy. The role focuses on enhancing Asset Management capabilities through business process improvements, data governance, system implementation, and SAP data quality initiatives. The position requires acting as an SAP subject matter expert for Asset Management data and supporting enterprise data quality programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance Asset Management capabilities through business process improvements, data governance, system implementation projects, and SAP data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the SAP subject matter expert for Asset Management data, supporting data governance, validation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of asset-related information.
  • Develop and support enterprise data quality programs, including data standardization, validation, profiling, and quality metrics.
  • Analyze, validate, and maintain GIS, SAP, and related asset data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
  • Conduct complex data analysis and develop reports, maps, dashboards, and visualizations to support operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support Finance and Asset Management teams by validating asset information, improving asset records, and supporting regulatory filing requirements.
  • Assess the impacts, risks, and opportunities associated with business process changes, data integrations, and GIS/SAP system implementations or upgrades.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and business documentation to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of asset information management policies, procedures, standards, and business rules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support asset information management, data quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise, project support, and recommendations on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve business performance and data management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Information Systems, GIS/Geography, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data management, data quality, business analysis, process improvement, and information management initiatives.
  • Strong experience with SQL, data preparation, data wrangling, and relational database systems.
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and asset-related data management practices.
  • Experience transforming, analyzing, and reporting on large and complex datasets to support business decision-making.
  • Experience with SAP data management and data quality improvement initiatives; ability to act as a subject matter expert for asset and enterprise data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business solution development skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to enhance business processes and data quality.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and maintain a high standard of excellence.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to assess emerging technologies and understand their impact on business strategies and operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Project, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
