About the Role
BDO is seeking Co-op students or Interns to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team in the Ottawa Region from January to April 2027. This new role focuses on preparing financial statements, tax returns, and assisting clients while fostering positive working relationships and contributing to an innovative workplace.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
- Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Assisting other departments when needed with various Accounting functions
