About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them towards digital and connected project processes using our RIB 4.0 software solution. You will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business within the construction and real estate industry.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the sales of the RIB 4.0 platform in your sales territory, from initial contact to contract negotiation.
- Manage independent relationship building, acquisition, needs analysis, product consultation, and offer and contract negotiation.
- Long-term support and development of new and existing customers in the North region with the goal of building sustainable, personal customer relationships.
- Develop own sales concepts and measures for growth promotion in your area and implement them independently.
- Conceptualize (with the marketing team) and execute regional sales activities, such as webinars or on-site events.
- Participate in centrally managed events (e.g., RIB Unite) and trade fairs (e.g., Messe Bau).
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from internal sales, consulting, and support to form a competence team for your customers in Northern Germany.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry, ideally from a commercial or sales role (e.g., construction project management, construction planning, construction technology, project development with property developers, commercial sales role/commercial management, ...).
- Confident and professional demeanor at the decision-maker level, combined with strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to clearly and convincingly communicate benefits, added value, and ROI.
- Proactive, creative, reliable, and eager to make a real impact.
- Team-oriented approach with a high degree of customer focus.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 50%) to customers in your sales territory.
- Very good German language skills (min. C1 level) for the DACH focus market.
- At least good English language skills at B2 level (internal communication).
