About the Role
Vantage is seeking a Director of Treasury to lead and shape the company’s global cash management, funding strategies, and financial risk mitigation efforts. This senior leadership role will drive strategic decision-making, ensuring optimal liquidity, treasury operations, and financial governance while enhancing banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions. The Director of Treasury will work closely with executive management to align treasury functions with broader corporate objectives, guide financial risk policies, and establish innovative automation strategies to support scalable growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all treasury functions across the region, ensuring strong liquidity, risk management, and efficient cash flow processes.
- Develop and execute strategies for cash management, debt financing, and investment optimization, aligning treasury activities with business growth.
- Serve as the lead liaison with global and regional banking partners, negotiating favorable terms, optimizing structures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Establish and oversee internal treasury controls, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, FX management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead the development and continuous refinement of cash flow forecasting models, ensuring financial stability and operational flexibility.
- Oversee financial reporting on debt facilities, ensuring efficient fund utilization and proactive risk mitigation.
- Continue to develop automation initiatives, integrating treasury platforms (Yardi, Kyriba) with ERP systems to streamline transactions and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with CFOs, Finance leaders, and business units to align treasury objectives with financial strategy and corporate decision-making.
- Oversee internal and external treasury audits, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights into global financial trends, strategic funding opportunities, and capital allocation strategies.
- Manage strategic M&A project closing and distributions to shareholders.
- Manage a team of 5, split into 'Operations' and 'Debt reporting'.
- Provide leadership in treasury operations, guiding the broader finance team and treasury personnel.
- Drive bank account management strategy, ensuring efficiency in KYC and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Design and implement treasury policy frameworks to strengthen financial governance.
- Lead initiatives to enhance cash reporting, liquidity management, and transaction automation.
- Negotiate banking agreements and financial instruments to optimize company financial performance.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies for FX exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and market volatility.
- Oversee external audits, regulatory reporting, and treasury-related compliance initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic financial planning within the treasury team.
- Manage the expense system and related EMEA T&E policy.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial services.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
