About the Role
KKR Capstone is the portfolio operations and value creation arm of KKR, partnering with deal teams and portfolio company management to drive key operational issues. Associates work as owner-operators, identifying, prototyping, and implementing operational improvements, gaining general management experience in a private equity environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner on value creation levers including growth and commercial strategies, efficiency and cost optimization, and strategic/organizational initiatives.
- Assist with late-stage diligence efforts, identifying, sizing, and scoping value creation opportunities.
- Support 100-day planning for portfolio companies.
- Identify talent needs and assist in recruiting top talent for portfolio companies.
Requirements
- Current 2nd year MBA student with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026.
- Embody KKR’s core values: unquestioned integrity, strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork and excellence.
- Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for real assets investing.
- Strong understanding of fundamental business analysis.
- Outstanding professional and academic performance record.
- Comfort using AI and data tools for analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Prior consulting experience is preferred.
