About the Role

Rubrik is seeking an experienced Specialist Sales Engineering Manager to lead a team of specialist Architects and provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional EMEA Presales team. This role is crucial for achieving EMEA revenue goals, recruiting top talent, enabling Architects, and driving innovative technical programs. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting Rubrik's hybrid cyber resiliency platform for large enterprises across EMEA.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with account teams, partners, and technical champions within customers and prospects.
Engage and leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets, and personnel as appropriate.
Retain, recruit, and hire top Specialist SEs to expand coverage.
Enable and continue the development of the SEs on the team.
Provide technical leadership and direction to Sales Teams in EMEA to help build technology solutions for Enterprise customers.
Assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions for customers and prospects.
Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, cloud, SaaS, and competitive offerings.
Act as a technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet technology and business requirements.
Make technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management.
Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications.

Requirements

5+ years of sales engineering management experience or 10+ years of relevant customer experience preferably in a cyber security, software, data center, or data protection environment.
Driven, need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach.
Deep technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup, cyber recovery, and data analytics.
Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude.
Thrives in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.
A high level of business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges.
Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
