About the Role

We are searching for a dedicated intensive care unit (ICU) nurse to deliver vital care to seriously ill or injured patients in our ICU department. As a specialized nurse, you will be highly trained to treat patients who have suffered strokes, heart attacks, trauma, or undergone invasive surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests
• Conduct follow-up visits
• Monitor patient recovery
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Oversee quality assurance activities and compliance to operational standards
• Participate in program development and in development and implementation of operating policy and procedure

Requirements

• Current New York State license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care setting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates
