About the Role
The role combines commercial management, organizational development, and governance within a dynamic environment bridging startups, academia, and industry. You will be responsible for the commercial and organizational advancement of JUNI, establishing structures for sustainable growth and working closely with management to develop data-driven steering mechanisms.
Responsibilities
- Develop performance mechanisms to measure growth.
- Establish a company-wide KPI, reporting, and steering system for management and shareholders.
- Manage business planning, budget planning, forecasting, and liquidity control.
- Build and enhance a robust controlling and reporting system.
- Develop and implement scalable organizational and steering structures.
- Establish efficient processes in collaboration with specialist departments.
- Contribute to scaling the organization from approximately 20 to a prospective 50-100 employees.
- Oversee commercial processes, including communication with funding bodies and external partners like tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Prepare and support supervisory board and shareholder meetings.
- Manage HR, Office Management, and central administrative processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Finance, Business Operations, Corporate Governance, or similar roles focused on growth.
- Experience in developing and implementing KPI and reporting systems.
- Experience in growth-oriented organizations, startups, scale-ups, or dynamic medium-sized structures.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, business planning, and organizational development.
- Ability to pragmatically build structures and implement them operationally.
- Experience with shareholders, committees, or complex stakeholder structures is advantageous.
- High analytical strength and entrepreneurial thinking.
- High degree of independence and responsibility.
- Proficient in handling numbers, models, and reporting.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
