About the Role

We are seeking an experienced deal originator to lead customer acquisition and commercial structuring for hyperscale and large enterprise data center customers. This role involves managing regulatory, legal, and engineering components to originate, negotiate, and advance multi-hundred-megawatt transactions for powered land and co-located generation solutions. The position requires commercial orientation, team leadership, and an understanding of hyperscaler energy solutions integration. You will report to our Chief Business Officer, Data Centers.

Responsibilities

Originate and cultivate a pipeline, advancing onsite energy solutions to close
Lead direct engagement with hyperscalers and large colocation providers
Develop and manage strategic account plans
Advance early-stage discussions through executed term sheets
Structure integrated energy + land + development frameworks
Negotiate pricing structures (capacity charges, standby constructs, hybrid supply)
Align commercial constructs with regulatory pathways
Coordinate with Regulatory, Engineering, M&A, and Finance
Drive internal investment committee approvals
Maintain disciplined milestone tracking

Requirements

10+ years in energy origination, infrastructure development, IPP, or hyperscale commercial roles
Experience negotiating PPAs, energy services agreements, or large load service contracts
Has closed >100 MW infrastructure transactions
Deep understanding of generation economics and grid interconnection
Operates with both entrepreneurial drive and institutional discipline
Prior experience at a hyperscaler, or with grid-scale gas origination at an independent power producer
Strong commercial judgment and executive presence
Prepared to travel nationally, up to 50% of the time
