About the Role
This critical role provides direct support to survivors of sex and labor trafficking, often at the intersection of domestic and sexual violence. The position connects clients to services, fosters community relationships, and leads awareness initiatives using a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach. A sign-on bonus may apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Human Trafficking Program.
- Provide intensive case management and crisis support to survivors.
- Deliver holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive case management services.
- Act as a liaison between victims, providers, and community members.
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and community members.
- Organize and facilitate community outreach, training, and education.
- Plan and coordinate events that raise awareness and promote advocacy.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all clients and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and/or minimum of 3+ years of relevant Human Services experience.
- Experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence or similar populations preferred.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with grant-funded programs and reporting is a plus.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
