About the Role
This role is crucial for building the operational foundations of Joss Search, transforming how the company operates, driving automation, and creating infrastructure that enables employees to perform at their best. The Head of Platform & Enablement will own the operational backbone, including finance, compliance, systems, automation, technology, suppliers, and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Owning operational infrastructure across the UK, US, and Europe
- Bringing day-to-day finance further in-house and transforming financial data into sharper decisions
- Driving automation and AI across the business as a way of working
- Simplifying, accelerating, and improving systems and processes
- Leading compliance, governance, and risk management
- Managing key supplier, technology, and banking relationships
- Building resilience and continuity within operations
- Growing and mentoring a team
- Identifying opportunities to free up time for more impactful work
Requirements
- Senior operations leadership experience in a scaling business
- Significant finance depth and hands-on ownership of month-end processes
- Experience leading operational transformation and systems change
- A track record of delivering automation or AI-enabled improvements, or the willingness to learn quickly with support
- Experience building and leading teams
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Recruitment, staffing, sales, or professional services experience is a plus
