About the Role

You will take end-to-end responsibility for complex business and IT programs at strategic clients. You will engage early in demanding projects or stabilize programs in critical situations. You will combine consistent delivery control with contract and commercial management, effective governance, and confident customer communication. This role offers an exceptional platform for individuals who understand and want to actively shape the overall business. Close collaboration with the COO area and Business Unit Leadership provides insights into key strategic and operational decisions. The variety of assignments enables exceptional professional and personal development, high visibility within the company, and direct contact with customers and decision-makers at the highest management level.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for complex, interconnected business and IT programs throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Analyze contracts, performance promises, scope, cost, and risk drivers, and align delivery consistently with them.
  • Establish governance, control logic, reporting, communication channels, and a high-performing team organization, utilizing AI-supported methods for early risk detection, sound decision support, and automation of recurring control tasks.
  • Lead critical engagements through turnaround and escalation situations, implementing sustainable stabilization measures.
  • Manage contract changes, commercials, customer negotiations, and decisions regarding scope, budget, quality, and time.
  • Lead international and cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with delivery, contract management, and internal/external executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in leading large, complex IT programs or client engagements with comprehensive responsibility for results.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for a cohesive transformation or delivery program with a relevant budget and high organizational complexity.
  • Sound practical experience in program, delivery, contract, commercial, risk, and governance management.
  • Broad understanding of IT services, such as software development, cloud, infrastructure, integration, or SAP, as well as a deep understanding of modern data, AI, and automation approaches and their responsible application in complex transformation and delivery programs.
  • Confident stakeholder management and clear communication at the executive and C-level in complex matrix organizations.
  • Strong end-to-end ownership, structured working method, hands-on mentality, resilience, and enjoyment of demanding change situations.
