About the Role
Join our school social work team at the Walter-Gropius-Schule in Berlin-Neukölln, supporting middle school students with daily challenges and fostering a positive school climate. You will work collaboratively with a team of six professionals, engaging students through various activities and providing guidance.
Responsibilities
- Conducting class-based activities to promote social skills.
- Developing creative and movement-oriented leisure and group activities.
- Advising students, parents, and teachers.
- Providing support during conflicts and crisis situations.
- Fulfilling the duty of care in cases of child endangerment.
- Collaborating with the youth welfare office and other cooperation partners.
Requirements
- Educator, social pedagogue (social pedagogy), social worker (social work), childhood pedagogue, pedagogue.
- Motivation and interest in developing and implementing projects.
- Enjoyment of working with a diverse student body.
- Foreign language skills are welcome but not required.

Salary/Compensations
- Analogous to TVL SuE, starting salary from €2,546 for 30 hours per week.
