About the Role
Start an apprenticeship as a specialist in gastronomy, hotel management, or kitchen (m/f/d) at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, managed by Marriott International, starting August 2025. This role is ideal for individuals who love the gastronomy, interacting with people, or a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn guest service and consultation, service standards, food preparation, and goods receipt and storage.
- Gain exposure to various departments including banquets, reception, kitchen, purchasing, bar, event sales, and marketing.
- Adhere to hygiene regulations (HACCP) and JW Service Guidelines.
- Maintain composure during stressful situations.
- Act independently with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ensure cleanliness, order, and safety.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements
- Completed Abitur or Mittlere Reife.
- Specify the desired apprenticeship in the application.
- Previous service experience through internships or part-time jobs is a plus, but not required.
- Warm, authentic, and sociable personality.
- Strong communication and expression skills in German and English.
- Eagerness to explore new things and develop further.
- Flexible availability and a strong sense of quality.
