About the Role

Unity Advisory is seeking a Manager for its Financial Due Diligence team to manage buy-side and sell-side engagements, analyze financial data, and ensure timely delivery of findings. This role involves working closely with senior leadership, clients, and target company management, and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from scoping through to completion.
• Analyze quality of earnings, net working capital, cash flow and other deal-deciding issues, and translate findings into clear client-facing reports.
• Oversee engagement teams, review work, coach junior staff, and manage client communication.
• Conduct interviews with target company management and build relationships with clients, investors, and advisors.
• Draft and quality-check diligence deliverables for accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with data and AI specialists to integrate analytics into standard practice.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and pitches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence or Transaction Services from a Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm.
• Proven experience managing buy-side and sell-side FDD assignments from inception to completion.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow.
• Demonstrated ability to excel as a team player in multidisciplinary engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and senior stakeholder interaction.
• Curiosity and interest in leveraging technology and AI to advance financial due diligence.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
