About the Role
Be the direct contact for key stakeholders to communicate the value proposition and execute the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships while maximizing opportunities through strong account plans.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by owning customer engagement for target HCPs across channels, reflecting customer preferences and leveraging available content.
- Develop SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory plans and brand strategy.
- Effectively handle objections and concerns, consistently achieving a clear call to action or close on every sales call.
- Develop peer-to-peer relationships with customers to foster productive discussions and challenge the status quo.
- Educate medical providers, other relevant decision-makers, and affiliated healthcare professionals.
- Identify and develop disease state experts, building advocacy aligned with the territory plan.
- Continuously strive to gain market intelligence.
- Organize and manage stakeholder meetings.
- Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition to physicians or other assigned stakeholders compared to competitors.
- Demonstrate in-depth disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence expertise.
- Analyze sales reports (CRM, etc.) and field intelligence to adapt the territory plan.
- Collaborate with medical and market access colleagues to support customer needs and implement regional/national programs.
- Develop a business plan for own territory in line with brand strategy.
- Effectively target and track resources to maximize sales opportunities.
- Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Proven pharmaceutical sales success.
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Solutions-focused with a positive attitude.
- Strategic mindset and data analytics proficiency for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent team player.
- ABPI qualified.
- Full driving license.
