About the Role

This role supports the senior Beano Brain insight team in delivering thought-provoking and business-transforming insight work for larger clients and global projects. The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to thought leadership and brainstorming.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate client insight projects, liaising with sample and survey scripting partners globally.
  • Collate costs, prepare research proposals, set up projects, and manage local partners/suppliers.
  • Brief external suppliers and monitor survey progress.
  • Participate in client meetings and the briefing and proposal process.
  • Contribute to the design of insight projects, including drafting parts of client proposals.
  • Support the preparation, management, and execution of ad hoc research projects.
  • Draft questionnaires, check survey links, update clients on progress, and create data tables.
  • Assist in drafting insightful and action-inspiring presentations.
  • Provide support in analysis and writing debriefs, creating persuasive presentations.
  • Help present insights to clients with support from the senior team.
  • Create, collate, review, report, and catalogue research questions and surveys for thought leadership.
  • Prepare, present, and support quantitative findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Beano Brain team to support Digital, Content, and Consumer Product teams with insights.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience on segmentation projects.
  • Previous use or exposure to Conjoint, MaxDiff or similar analysis software.
  • Experience of using statistical analysis software, such as SPSS, or ideally Q or DisplayR.
  • Data analytics: Applies analytical methods to interpret quantitative research data, identify patterns and produce evidence that supports client and business decisions.
  • Market research: Plans and supports market research activity, including questionnaire development, fieldwork management, supplier coordination and reporting.
  • Project management: Manages defined research projects and workstreams from set-up to completion.
  • Stakeholder relationship management: Builds effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, senior insight colleagues and internal teams.
  • Data visualisation: Presents data and findings in a clear, accessible and audience-appropriate way.
  • Artificial intelligence and data ethics: Uses approved AI and data-enabled tools responsibly.
  • Strategic planning: Contributes insight, evidence and analysis that support client and business planning.
  • Experience working with kids and teens.
  • Expertise in specific area of youth culture and/or families.
  • Experience working on multi-market projects, especially the US.
  • Experience working on mixed quant/qual projects aimed at children and/or youth.
  • Demonstrates curiosity by seeking to understand data drivers and showing interest in kids, teens, families, youth culture, brands and changing audience behaviour.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to experiment with purpose by testing new methods and learning from projects.
  • Takes responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work.
  • Works openly with quantitative, qualitative, commercial and portfolio colleagues.
  • Builds trust with suppliers and clients through clear communication and reliable delivery.
