About the Role
As part of the JOURNALISTENCLUB, you will be responsible for quality assurance, control, and cleanliness, organizing work in terms of personnel and time, and leading assigned employees. You will order daily necessities, ensure proper storage, and maintain quality and price-conscious consumption of all food items according to recipes and specifications. Your focus will be on continuous top quality and appealing presentation during food preparation. You will support the kitchen management with inventory and monthly closing, and collaborate closely with supervisors, contributing creative ideas for menu planning. Adherence to hygiene regulations, food laws, safety, and occupational health measures is essential.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality assurance, control, and cleanliness of the assigned area.

- Adhere to prescribed hygiene regulations, food laws, safety regulations, and occupational health measures.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a cook.
- Several years of professional experience with sound expertise in gastronomy.
- Interest and experience in modern, innovative cuisine with fresh products.
- Experience with modern kitchen techniques and equipment.
- Willingness to perform, customer orientation, and cost-conscious quality thinking.
- Enjoy teamwork and be communicative.
- Initial experience in staff leadership.
- Desire for further training and enthusiasm for work.
