About the Role

Bar Allora, a modern Italian bar and restaurant in Sydney CBD, is seeking a hands-on Restaurant & Bar Floor Manager to lead Front of House service, enhance guest experiences, and contribute to the venue's future. This role offers the opportunity to lead from the floor, grow professionally, and fast-track career progression towards a Venue Manager or F&B Manager role within 6-12 months.

Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of your time on the floor, leading service and wowing guests
• Dedicate 20% of time to admin and reporting tasks
• Lead and mentor a high-energy team to deliver seamless, top-tier service
• Create a fun, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere for guests
• Drive efficiency in operations and ensure smooth lunch and dinner service
• Train, mentor, and develop FOH team members
• Oversee stock, budgets, and compliance

Requirements

• Experience as a Restaurant or Bar Supervisor (or similar leadership role)
• A natural host who thrives on guest interactions and creating memorable experiences
• A proactive and hands-on leader who loves being on the floor
• Strong operational skills with a keen eye for detail and service excellence
• Someone looking to grow into a senior hospitality leadership role
