About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects across the business, coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, tracking progress, managing schedules, and producing reports. It offers exposure to project governance, planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Run and/or assist in the planning, coordinating, and delivery of projects through requirement gathering, build, UAT and implementation activities.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Track project actions and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Support project governance activities and ensure adherence to project methodologies.
  • Produce regular project status reports, dashboards, and updates.
  • Gather, analyse, and present project performance data.
  • Monitor project KPIs and delivery metrics.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Support resource and budget tracking activities.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering groups.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action logs.
  • Build effective relationships with project stakeholders and team members.
  • Communicate project updates clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain project risk, issue, assumption, and dependency logs.
  • Support the identification and assessment of project risks.
  • Track mitigation actions and escalate concerns where necessary.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Support the management of project change requests.
  • Assist with project audits, reviews, and lessons learned exercises.
  • Maintain compliance with project management standards.

Requirements

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, or equivalent years of experience in role.
  • Experience of engaging and working with internal teams and external third parties.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • A “get it done” attitude.
  • Experience of defining requirements, process mapping, documenting data flows and gap analysis.
  • Experience of managing projects, ideally in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Relevant project management qualification or training.
  • Experience in a regulated environment.

Skills

  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to project management principles or methodologies.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com.
