About the Role

Space NK is seeking a Copy & Editorial Manager for a fixed-term contract to oversee the planning and production of high-quality written and video content, supporting the organic search strategy. This role involves leading the development of the brand voice and creating innovative copy for various communications, while managing a team of five.

Responsibilities

• Shape and maintain Space NK’s tone of voice, ensuring adoption and evolution across all communications.
• Create on-brand messages across all communication channels based on business briefs.
• Deliver compelling creative copy for key commercial campaigns and moments.
• Write, edit, and proof content for stores and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Manage YouTube and the blog, including content calendars and output, optimizing for visibility.
• Collaborate with SEO Project Manager and agency to ensure content plans align with search insights and targets.
• Write, edit, and oversee the production of printed collateral, such as gift guides.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to drive innovation.
• Oversee the development of a team of five.

Requirements

• Fluent in English with impeccable grammar and spelling.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Solid understanding of SEO.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Experience copywriting in a retail, luxury, or beauty environment.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the wider beauty industry.
• Previous line management experience.
• Innovative approach to creative communications.
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, use initiative, and perform under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at a senior management level.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
