About the Role
This is a leadership position responsible for managing a team in accounting, membership, donation, and sponsorship services. The role involves financial closing, tax declarations, audit support, budgeting, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for a team of 2 employees in accounting, membership, donation, and sponsorship services.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including tax declarations and support for the audit.
- Participate in budget creation and reporting to relevant committees.
- Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with HR.
- Prepare personnel cost calculations, assist with budget planning, and manage the settlement of funding projects.
- Support the settlement of donations and funding for six international cooperation projects.
- Manage the accounting and annual closing for the TERRE DES FEMMES foundation.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, university degree, or comparable qualification.
- Work experience in finance and accounting, ideally with prior leadership responsibility.
- Sound knowledge of financial accounting and preparing annual financial statements.
- Experience with digital accounting systems and Office 365.
- Good English skills; further language skills, especially French or Spanish, are advantageous.
- Service-oriented, flexible, and networked thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with responsibility, structure, reliability, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Identification with the feminist mission statement and TDF positions.
