About the Role

Join Authentic's Business Development training program to learn the brand licensing business. You will be mentored by experienced leaders and assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads for Authentic's global network of licensing partners across wholesale, retail, and online marketplaces. This role is crucial for increasing the distribution of our diverse Lifestyle portfolio and gaining 360-degree knowledge of expanding our partnership universe.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads within the licensing universe, including manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and digital marketplaces.
  • Understand each brand's value proposition and mold it into a compelling pitch to prospects.
  • Establish and maintain awareness of available merchandise categories and align them with target prospects.
  • Develop, present, and hand over qualified leads to Authentic Business Development Executives.
  • Grow Authentic's partner database through continuous research, identification, and outreach.
  • Achieve target KPIs including qualified lead goals, target pipeline contribution, and outbound activity.

Requirements

  • At least one successful sales position with a proven record of achievement is required.
  • Understanding of sales methodologies (value selling, target account selling, solutions selling, strategic selling).
  • Ability to thrive and work fast in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.
  • Ambitious and result-oriented with excellent communication skills.
